Seoul!

Posted on April 18, 2009 in Uncategorized by myfluffyblog

For my Easter holiday, only me and my mum went to Seoul.  My dad had to go to a business trip, in Tokyo and my brother didn’t have anything to do but, he didn’t want come to Seoul with us.  Seoul is the Capital city of Korea.  I didn’t just go with my mum, some two my mums friends came along with us.  One of her friend brought their children with them.  I’m friends with them.  We were staying in a hotel called “The Capital hotel”.  It’s a four star hotel, but when we were there it didn’t seem like a four star hotel because it had no toothbrush, toothpaste and no shampoo and body wash.  So me and my mum had to go to the supermarket and buy toothbrush and toothpaste. We bought our own shampoo and body wash, so we didn’t need to buy any.  We had two rooms their was six of us so we had to have three in each room.  Me and mum and one of her friends in one room and my mums other friend and her kids in the other room.  We went there for five days trip. In fact we only have three days looking around in Seoul because we went on Monday and we arrived there about 6:30pm at the hotel so we couldn’t do much. On Friday the day we left, our fight was at 1:05 pm.  So we had to leave the hotel early.  The three days we have visited the park sort of like Ocean park and Disneyland so it was a mix of both parks.  It’s called “Ever Land”.  We spent a whole day there.  One of my mum friends child is named “Daniel” and he loves park like ever land.  He Mostly went on every ride there but not the rollcosters.  He wanted to my mums other friend taken him on the roller coaster but he was to short to go on the ride.  Their was a safari trip in Ever land, it had a huge line.  Me and the other kids want to line up that long.  But my mum and her friends somehow made us.  When we got on the bus to take us around to see the animals it was very short and waited so long.  After the ride we started to talk to them saying “it’s all our fault”.  But after we said that, they said it’s there fault.  One thousand Korea money is only about $7 in HK dollars.  So when we buy things we mostly think how much is that in HK dollars.  Sometimes it gets really confusing.  We also visited some of the sites in Seoul like palaces, the tower of seoul, the city hall, the river called ”Qing Xi river”, which was very clear and beautiful, and some shopping areas.   My mums friend brought lots of clothes in Seoul.  My mum also brought me clothes I like them.  I thought the trip was great because we went to so many new places in Seoul.  I liked the shopping the best.

BRRINNG!!

The bell rang for the end of school and noise began to fill the hallways.

“Class, we are having a trip to an art museum,” said Mr Stanhope excitedly.  Everyone in the room started to moan.  The kids moaned like a cows on a field.  Mr. Stanhope handed out the form for the trip.  When he handed it to a girl named Emily, her face screwed up, as if a bowl of onions have been put in front of her.  She always argued with a boy named Kyle for no reason, but there is one reason from her.  She hates him, because he is such a good boy.  But she always started it.  Sometimes they even get into a fight and the teacher would always let Kyle go, because he is a great helper in class and Emily isn’t.  At lunch time that day Emily and Kyle had a fight.  Mr. Stanhope let Kyle go again and gave Emily a note home to her parents then a detention slip as she always gets.  When they left the class, Emily charged to Kyle like a bull.

“This is your entire fault!” Emily ranged when she punched the lockers.

“Sorry,” said Kyle and he was about to wee his pants.

“You’re going to pay for this!” Emily groaned like a starving tiger.

Emily walked away while ripping up her detention slip.  Then she threw it in the air.

The next morning, the kids gathered around the bus.  As Mr. Stanhope shouted to the kids, Emily was the last person to arrive at the bus.  Then a group of kids rushed passed Emily.  So they won’t be the last people there and Mr. Stanhope would grow at them.

“Come on, get on you grubby kids,” roared Mr. Stanhope.

When Mr. Stanhope roared, every kid bowed.  Kyle and Emily were the last two people to get on.

“Behave you, Emily,” said Mr. Stanhope, while staring at Emily and maybe at Kyle.  When they arrived Kyle and Emily were still the last two kids to get off the bus.

“Now, everybody this is a public place, so don’t be noisy,” whispered Mr. Stanhope, while glaring at every body’s head.

“I don’t want to go to a boring museum.  I want to have an adventure! “Shouted Emily.

“Ssssshhhhh,” said Mr. Stanhope, now even staring more at Emily and lease at the other kids that were talking.  Emily lowered down like a gopher going into his burrow.  As they went in Emily got lower and lower than before.  Sunddley, the kids ran to a painting and looked.  Some turned their heads this way and that way.  Emily came across a painting of a field with a small cottage and was with Kyle staring at it.

“What’s so good about this painting?” said Emily.

“It’s peaceful,” Kyle answered back.

Right when Emily was about to leave, the painting started to swirl like a whirl pool.

“Oh my,” said Kyle “what’s happening to the painting?”

“I don’t know,” roared Emily.

Wooooaaaaahhh

BANG!!

“Aw, my aching head,” said Kyle while rubbing his head.

What a baby Emily said to herself.

“Where are we,” asked Kyle.

“It’s even more peaceful.”

Then Kyle Sunddley spotted the little cottage house he saw before.  The briskly wind flew past through his hair.  But Emily rolled her eyes over and over.  Emily dragged over to the side of the painting and stickled her leg in the corner.

“Aaaahhhh, my leg is missing!” screamed Emily.  Kyle whizzed around to Emily like a tornado wreaking havoc on a town.

“What happened?” asked Kyle” Emily where are you? ”

“I’m over here,”

“Where here?”

“In the next painting,” shouted Emily, thinking that Kyle death.

“All I can see is the side of the painting,” shouted Kyle, if he was about to lose his voice.

“Walk to the side,” demanded Emily.  Kyle did what he was told as if he was the solider and Emily was the general.   Kyle tried to take in a other look, but it was too late.  Emily stickled her hand in to grab Kyle over.  It looked like a bare hand reaching for him.

“Wooooaaaaahhh, uh what is this place?”

“Well, I don’t know, but I definitely don’t like it,” moaned Emily.

“Gather around kids,” Mr. Stanhope said “where is Emily and Kyle? ”
Every kid shurred their shoulders.  Does this sentence make sense? -Mr Stanhope 3/19/09 1:51 PM

“Well, go and find them,” Mr. Stanhope groaned like a dragon beginning to burn his lunch.  The kids scatted around the museum, up and down the stairs.

“We will not leave that door until they are found,” shouted Mr Stanhope to make sure that everyone hears, from up and down the floors of the museum.

“Look at that painting that the man is painting,” exclaimed Kyle with a wow face on.  Come on “said Emily well pulling Kyle  to the side of the painting.  OH, thought Kyle, but still looking at that man we great amazement.  As Kyle got further and further, the more strength Emily had to use.  Finally when they reach the end.  Emily almost collapsing on the table of the man’s painting area.  The man spotted them in the corner and glared at them when Emily was just about to clamps.

“Oh my, ” said the man while staring at them we interests.

“You can talk?” Kyle asked back.

“Of course I can talk,” he said” what is wrong with your little friend.

“We aren’t friends,”

“Oh, then I will not get in the way of you two, ” said the man politely.

“Thank you,” Kyle said generously,” we will be on our way now, ”

The man turned and went back to his painting.  This time Kyle had to drag Emily to the side.

“I’m going to hate this,” exhale Kyle “Wooaahh”

“Did you find them?” Mr. Stanhope said to every student he saw.  He was almost about pee his pants twice in a row.  He is this anxious because, if he loses the kids it’s going to be his responsibly.

“Let’s go to the next painting,” said Emily

“Fine,” said Kyle disappointed.

Wooaahh

“This is more like it,” said Emily proudly.  Kyle wasn’t sure about that painting, because the air was still and quiet as the gloomy air swam around them and mist was in their way.

“Aaaahhhh charged “shouted a man with a golden sword.

“What’s happening?” asked Kyle nervously.

“I don’t know,” said Emily. For the first time Emily was a bit frighten by the bloody swords.  A group of men charged at each other.  They looked side to side to see if there was any way to get out of there.  Strangely enough of their was a small painting from a distance that Emily spotted and pulled Kyle away from the fight.

“You’re even heavier than before, “groaned Emily

Kyle didn’t pay atteion to Emily; he was too busy staring at them.  Emily grunted as she was pushing Kyle to the painting.

“Why is your butt so big?” asked Emily.  But Kyle was still not listening to her he was still frozen.  Emily was fed up with pulling Kyle all the way to the small painting, so she slapped him on the butt.

“Owah,” said Kyle while rubbing his butt.

“We have to go!” said Emily while pushing. “Finally we’re here. You go in first.”

Kyle did as she said, because he didn’t what to have other big red patch on his butt.

Wooaahh

“We’re back”

“There you two are,” said Mr. Stanhope “Where were you?”

“We were in the ……. bathroom,” said Emily

Kyle looked at her with a confused look on his face.  Then Emily gave him a pinch on the butt.

“Ouch”

“What’s wrong?” asked Mr. Stanhope.

“Nothing,” replied Kyle

“Oh, then line up with the rest,” Mr. Stanhope told them.  After he left Emily started to giggle quietly.  But Kyle didn’t hear it because, he already joined the line.  Emily was the last to join the line again.

Forces

Posted on February 16, 2009 in Uncategorized by myfluffyblog

What I have learned about forces in class was very new to me.  I didn’t know much of forces at the start but, my teacher told us a lot of forces.  There are push/pull, gravity and air resacnce.  Gravity pulls us to the centre of the earth, I know it doesn’t pull us right in the middle of the earth because of a surface area .  We are very lucky that we have gravity on earth, if we didn’t we will be floating in the space which has no oxygen to breath.  So you would die.  The bigger the object is the more gravity it has, the smaller the object is the less gravity it has.  Push and pull is very simple which every one should know.  Air resacnce is in the air.  For example, a plane is lifting off.  The air restsance helps it keep it in the air.  Of coruse the engine also helps the plane be in the sky.

My Christmas Holiday!!!

Posted on January 12, 2009 in Uncategorized by myfluffyblog

On my Christmas holiday a spended it in Shenzhen.  I had my Christmas there because my dad’s dad was there, he was there because where he lives is in China somewhere and the place that he lives is very cold for the winter.  He is 79 years old so he is much, much older than me.  It was colder in Shenzhen than here, so my dad and my mum made me wear more clothes than normaly.  My dad also booked a ping pong lesson over the holiday, in the club house.  My dad payed for ten lesson, every lesson  was one hour.  I had one lesson each day at 9o’clock, I had to get around 8:30 every day.  My ping pong teacher was a man, he taught me new moves almost everyday.

For some of the days my family traveled around Shenzhen in our car that we have.  I most of the times sat in the front of the car with my dad.  So my brother and mum sat in the back of the car.  We went to Xia Men and Fu Zhou which is south-east of China.  The hotels names were Swan Hotel and The Best West Fortune Hotel.  We booked two rooms in each hotel.  So me and my mum slept in one room and my brother and my dad slept in another room.

The first five days it was just my, my dad and my dads dad there in the house.  Then on the fifth day my brother and my mum came.  They came on the fifth day because my mum still but my brother holiday had began. My brother decided to come when my mum came.

So that’s my holiday!!!!!!!!!!!

China Trip Review

Posted on December 9, 2008 in Uncategorized by myfluffyblog

Monday the 21st of November, the whole of year six group were very excited about going to China, including me.  The bus arrived at 3:10 pm, we all were happily waiting.  When the bus came to the airport we all shouted “Hooray”, it was about 4:10 pm.  The first to finish checking in was Ms Hare’s group.  I was in Mr. Mac’s awesome group.

The airplane landed in Guili around 7:50 pm, it was a tiring trip, because most of us didn’t sleep in the airplane.  We had that chance but we didn’t because, we were all excite about going to Guili.  When the bus came to a stop in Yangshuo, we went in the lobby and check in.  It took some time, because there was around 85 of us.  When I got into my room I and Luna were very tired, because we did our China trip booklet while on the plane and didn’t sleep.  I thrower my day back on the bed and got ready for bed and went to sleep.  On Monday night I Luna didn’t have a midnight feast.

Tuesday

The next day there was a beautiful sun-rise.  After the buffet breakfast the teachers checked our rooms.  I and Luna’s room was right door to Mr. Mac’s room.  After he checked our rooms we all met downstairs in the lobby and went on the battery vans. I liked the battery vans because there was a beautiful scene while they were moving.  The cold breeze was in my hair.  It felt really great.  There were eight kids and one adult in each van.  So there was one group in each van.  It drove swiftly around Yangshuo.  I saw many amazing things in Yangshuo.  My group saw one hunch back women and one hunch back man.  They were like that because, they had been working in the fields so  long.  They had been working like that for so many years their backs became like that.   After we had our lunch, we met in the hotel lobby.  We took the couches to the Banyan tree. I think it’s amazing that the Banyan tree is 1417 years old.  My group was in Cindy’s bus and some other groups too.  Cindy said you could touch it and make a wish.  I already made my wish, it was amazing that the roots of the tree came out up from the ground and connected with the tree.  We were going to go rafting after that, but the people said we were too young or too many.  So we didn’t go rafting but most of us wanted to go rafting including me.  If we were going rafting some of us would have be scared if we fell in the water.

After that we sat at the first steps of Moon Hill.  Mrs. Crawford explained to us want was going to happen.  She said that Mr. Loran is going to lead the way and nobody can pass him.  Mr. Mac was going to be in the back and he said nobody can go slower than him.  In the China booklet it had a question; the question was how many steps are there in Moon Hill?  I didn’t really count while I was going up.  I was in the middle.  When I was walking up lots of students sat on the steps to have a rest while walking up, I did too once in a while.  Around the top of Moon Hill there was a half moon shaped bridge.  There were 787 steps up, even Rei and Amane made it to the top.  When I got to the top the view was beautiful, I could see the farms and houses from up there.  After a few pictures we took on the top we came down, Luna had a little accident while coming down.  There was a little gap on a step and she twisted her ankle on it.  So she and Amane walked slowly down.  When I reached the bottom, I saw some students buying ice-cream.  The funny thing was some of my friends used chop-sticks to eat the ice-cream.  They chop-sticks because the store didn’t have any spoons.  I saw some other kids playing with a ball and joined in.  The ball hit the ground lots of time and it broke, but we kept playing anyway.

When the bus arrived, we took our couches back to the hotel.  We arrived at the hotel about 4:30 pm.  The teachers said we had some free time to what we needed to do, like our diaries.

We met in the lobby at 6:00 pm for dinner.  After dinner we went back to our rooms to get ready for bed

Wednesday

On Wednesday we rode a boat along the River Li before lunch.  We were riding to Fuli where the fan factory was.  It was amazing that the river is 83 km long.  We didn’t ride the whole way.  We just started around the middle and finished at Fuli.  At the fan factory they showed us how they made their fans.  The women said their family had been making for five generations.  We had two groups, one at a time each group went in.  We couldn’t all go in at once then it would be too crowed.  It was already too crowded with one group.  I had to stand up.  Most people crouched down.  After we were done the boat picked us up.  We got back to the hotel; the groups went out for lunch.  After lunch they took us to the Hoping School.  It was a half-hour ride there.  I saw so many kids there.  Their school is donated by the government of China.  It was really dirty; there were some small kids and big kids.  I met to girls I forgot their names, but they are 12 years old.  They are smaller than me by 3 inches around.  They both said they lived far from the school and it take’s 1 hour to walk and half an hour bike ride there.  But they said they were happy about their school.  After we all met some kids we took the couches back to Yangshuo.  When the bus stop at the front of the hotel we seted out for dinner.  When dinner was done we went to our rooms to get ready for bed and went to bed.

The China Trip Is Over!

Posted on December 7, 2008 in Uncategorized by myfluffyblog

Two weeks ago we came back from china, it was a great trip.  But I wished it could be longer than five days and four nights.  On Moon Hill there was 787 steps comin gdown was much easier than going up.  When we were coming down Luan twisted her ankle in a little gap on the step.  We didn’t go rafting because they said we were to young or to many, but we all wanted to go.  If we went some of the students would have been wooried about falling in the water.  Last year they were lucky to go rafting, on that day we also visited the Bayan Tree.  It’s 1417 years old, it’s amzaming that the roots comes and joins with the branches.  On the way to Guili lots of students ears was bocked, I bought some bubble gum many people asked for some.  On the way back I only had two npices of buble gum left because on the way there I gave a lot out.  When it was going to lift off my head started to poned.  I didn’t really feel so well, I just happy to be back in Hang Kong safely.

That’s all for now, bye!
